There has been quite a bit going on around here. The puppies got a new two-legged cousin this past week. They haven't met her yet, but were very interested in smelling Mom when she got back from visiting. It took a while for the baby to finally get here. In the meantime, Mom had a ton of nervous energy and made a quilt. The puppies have already decided that it is for them.
We can't wait for them to meet little Miss Cousin M.
Apparently we missed an important date. Yesterday was National Pets Day. We celebrated unknowingly by giving our puppies lots of treats. Of course, we pretty much do that every day. Miss M thought about showing her support of National Pets Day, but she was too busy lounging in the puppy hammock.
On a side note, we are trying to get the grass to grow. Right now though, the ground is pretty dirty. It's a small yard, and once all of the puppies have used the bathroom, there aren't many dry patches left. So we made a puppy hammock out of canvas and pvc pipe to give them a place to sun bathe off of the ground.
So anyway, Happy National Pets Day.
