Pachyderm Pandemic in Botswana!
This image is just one of many of elephant carcasses found scattered across African waterholes in Botswana and there seems to be no answer as to why. Many speculate poisoning by poachers yet the scavengers do not seem to be affected. Some believe it could be linked to a neurological impairment as locals in the area have reportedly seen the elephants walking in circles before death. It was reported that 169 had died in May and the toll had doubled with 70% being at watering holes in June. (Chris Bradford, Jul 2 2020, 10:01 ET - Updated: Jul 2 2020, 10:31 ET, The Sun)
